The
Kent State University Child Anxiety Research (CARe) Program specializes
in the assessment and treatment of child anxiety and related concerns.
Our primary goal is to (1) better understand risk factors leading to
the development of anxiety in children and adolescents and (2) provide
treatments that work for kids experiencing symptoms of an anxiety disorder,
including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Hair Pulling Disorder
(Trichotillomania), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Separation Anxiety
Disorder (SAD), Tic Disorders, Social Phobia, and Specific Phobias.
